Austin Refugee Day Festival - Volunteer 2018

The Austin Refugee Day Festival is a collaborative event presented by refugee resource agencies and other partners including Amaanah Refugee Services, American Red Cross serving Central and South Texas, Caritas of Austin, Catholic Charities of Central Texas, Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT), GirlForward, and Multicultural Refugee Coalition (MRC) to celebrate our refugee population in the Austin community.

The festival will be held Sunday, May 6th at Givens District Park, and we need your help from 8:30am to 6:00 PM. We will have a soccer tournament, kids activities, including face painting, bounce house, and more! We especially need volunteer support from those who speak Spanish, Dari, Farsi, Pashto, and/or Arabic.

Volunteers can help with set-up, tear down, supporting attendees, and assisting with the day of activities. A listing of the volunteer opportunities are listed below. Please review the available positions and shifts and select up to three positions upon registration.
