The Kansas / Nebraska / SW Iowa Region Volunteer Resources Team will work with you to complete your initial application.  Once completed, the Blood Services Volunteer Management Team will help you find the opportunity and location that works best for you:

Prepredness

Our Home Fire Campaigns educate communities on fire prevention and safety.  We install smoke detectors at no cos.  Our goal is to reduce the number of fire deaths in our communities
 

Pillowcase Project

Help teach children about different hazards (Fires, tornadoes, floods) and how to help their families stay prepared to respond
 

Disaster Response & Recovery

Disaster Action Team (DAT)
Did you know that the number 1 disaster in the United States is house fires? Our DAT Teams are trained to to assist families when they're at their lowest. 

We also provide specialized training to respond to local and national disasters

We train caseworkers to provide comfort and care to those who have been through a disaster.
 

Workforce Management and Administrative

We have Volunteer Opportunities for those who are administrative minded, can run an office, have great skills in managing the logistics of a project, and who know their way around a computer.  
Youth Volunteer - Kansas
