NHQ International Disaster Response (IDR) Roster - Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Coordinator Roster Candidate

This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services Department (ISD) Operations International Disaster Response (OPS-IDR) unit.

The Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Coordinator will work in collaboration with the National Society, other Movement Partners, delegates, NGO’s, national staff, local authorities and affected communities within the mandate of the Movement in order to plan, coordinate and implement the CVA component of a disaster response in relief and recovery.

In large scale responses the officer is likely to manage a team of deployed CVA Officers  focusing on different tasks. In small/medium scale responses the Coordinator may manage a CVA program individually.

This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services Department (ISD) Operations International Disaster Response (OPS-IDR) unit.

The Communications Roster member’s role is to support the development and execution of systems and strategies for emergency communications and capacity development for communications, for sharing and exchanging communications, assets, ideas, learnings, skills, expertise and resources across the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) global network.

This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services Department (ISD) Operations International Disaster Response (OPS-IDR) unit. The Information Management (IM) Coordinator is responsible for leading the Information Management in support to National Society (NS) and Movement partners. For large scale emergencies, the Information Management Coordinator leads the coordination and streamlining of Information Management within the operation.

This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services Department (ISD) Operations International Disaster Response (OPS-IDR) unit. The Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITT) Officer is responsible for deploying and maintaining essential IT and telecom infrastructure to support IFRC disaster response operations. This role ensures reliable connectivity, effective communication, and secure data management for field teams, facilitating efficient and coordinated response efforts. The position involves collaborating with IFRC Regional and Local IT Managers, Host National Societies, and partner organizations to align with best practices and compliance standards. Additionally, the ITT Officer provides training to staff, manages documentation, and assesses emerging technologies to enhance future deployments and support sustainable IT & telecom capabilities.

This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services Department (ISD) Operations International Disaster Response (OPS-IDR) unit.

Highly experienced and trained American Red Cross disaster response managers provide strategic and operational leadership within IFRC response operations on behalf of the affected National Society, ensuring effective coordination, assessment, analysis, and planning with relevant actors (including the national society, other Red Cross Red Crescent societies, governmental, and non-governmental stakeholders).
