Opportunity: Volunteer Services - TGCR - Translation: Team Member Location(s): Region Wide *Responsibilities: -Provide written translation of emails, shifts, descriptions, and other communications for the Volunteer Services team -Post shifts in Spanish as needed -Time Commitment: -Be available for quick turnaround of documents within 24 hours -Varies by project - approximately 5-10 hours per month *Qualifications: -Spanish verbal and written communication are a critical part of this role as you may need to communicate with colleagues, managers, or volunteers -A fluent or native Spanish language subject matter expert -Access to a computer with internet capability -Computer experience; must e comfortable with Microsoft Word and email functionality -Must be willing to learn Volunteer Connection database and Brand Central platform to create Red Cross templates of approved materials *Length of Appointment -1 year appointment; renewable *Development Opportunities Volunteer Services Spanish Translations Team Member receives support, guidance, and encouragement from the Volunteer Services Team. This position supports the Regional Volunteer Services Department. Assists the implementation of the regional volunteer recruitment plan by performing volunteer recruitment activities to attract a skilled, talented and diverse volunteer workforce to service in all lines of business around the organization.
