Be the First Step in a Lifesaving Journey. As a Volunteer Blood Donor Ambassador, you’ll make every donor feel welcome and appreciated from start to finish. Greet donors with warmth, guide them through check-in, and express sincere thanks for their generous gift. You’ll be an essential part of team—each shift you take helps deliver hope and save lives.
This position supports the Regional Disaster Cycle Services (DCS) department. Most of the 60,000 emergencies that the Red Cross responds to each year are local, personal disasters like home fires. Disaster Action Teams (DAT) provide emotional support, financial assistance, and information to help families begin the process of recovery. The Disaster Action Team (DAT) Duty Officer ensures timely activation and monitoring of local and regional DAT responses. The Duty Officer supports the DAT program either at the chapter/territory or region level.
This position supports the Regional Disaster Cycle Services department. Save lives and prevent injuries by providing free education to community members by working with paid and volunteer staff and following program guidance.

As an Event Support Volunteer, you help bring Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) programs to life by supporting events that honor, celebrate, and assist military members, veterans, and their families. Your involvement ensures each event runs smoothly and creates a meaningful, memorable experience for the military community.
This position supports the Regional Disaster Cycle Services department. A Community Engagement Team Member is a member of the Community Engagement & Partnerships (CEP) Team. They perform the core community engagement activities for the Red Cross. This role requires cultural competency, knowledge of the Red Cross, and a willingness to be the face of the Red Cross in the community. Community Engagement Team Members work with the chapter’s DPx and will coordinate with other disaster teams based out of the chapter (DAT, health, mental health, SAF, preparedness)
