Key Responsibilities

Aid Communications department to promote Red Cross services and programs, campaigns, events across the Los Angeles Region.

-Coverage of news, disasters, community events, red carpet events, corporate headshots and celebrity galleries.
-Turn over footage quickly to Red Cross Communications department for distribution to media and promotion via Red Cross websites and social media.

Length of Appointment

Minimum of 6 months to 1 year, renewable. Once trained can remain active as long as training is updated as required by chapter

Relationships

Works closely with Communications and Development departments, as well as with external bussinesses and organizations to attend events and shoot photos

Qualifications

-Must have all of your own equipment. DSLR camera required. External flash preferred.
-Ability to shoot both formally or in a photo journalistic style
-Should be creative and able to tell a story through photos
-Professional and friendly demeanor
-Professional photography experience preferred
-Must be able to submit samples of your work 


Time Commitment

Must be available to shoot events throughout each month
