NHQ:ISD-SLT-MVMT - Executive Assistant
This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services (ISD) team. This position provides support to the Executive Director of Global Partnerships to improve internal communications, track taskers, troubleshoot challenges, prepare presentations, and manage calendars and agendas. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Executive Director, Global Partnerships to keep priorities on track, including logging leadership taskers and following up with assigned owners to ensure timely completion
- Support effective leadership meetings by preparing agendas, ensuring required inputs are ready, displaying decks, and logging and circulating follow ups
- Polish presentations for leadership briefings, including reformatting, copy editing and adding visuals
- Schedule and confirm appointments on ED calendar
- Other administrative support tasks as assigned
- May participate as a department representative on a cross-functional team or serve as a team lead for an intra-department project
Qualifications
Required:
- Passion for the Red Cross mission and willingness to learn
- Experience working as a professional executive assistant, administrative assistant, or receptionist
- Professional, clear, and diplomatic communication skills to coordinate with various internal and stakeholder groups
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment
- Ability to handle varying schedules and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to organize and structure office routines, files, procedures, and projects
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook and web-based programs
- Experience working virtually
- High tolerance for ambiguity
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer virtually
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
