This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) International Services Response & Recovery department. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. This role will support the development of anticipatory action planning and implementation framework standard operating procedures and related tools. Key Responsibilities
- Develop/refine anticipatory action planning and implementation process
- Develop tools/resources for successful planning and implementation
- Teach/train partner national society (PNS) stakeholders on tool usage
- Support and inform country-specific socialization plans
Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Experience developing program/project plans
- Ability to clearly explain complex issues to different audiences with varying levels of buy-in
- Able to communicate well with a range of different people
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience developing standard operation procedures or program doctrine
- Experience developing templates and/or job tools
- Experience with process improvement
- Comfortable developing project plans with minimal input
- Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Comfortable using technology like Teams, Zoom, etc.

Length of Appointment
