Key Responsibilities

• Required:

  • Enthusiastic about Red Cross mission and programs
  • Cultural sensitivity to diverse audiences
  • Prior volunteer experience with the Red Cross
  • Knowledge and understanding of Red Cross services and operations and opportunities for volunteer service
  • Work well both individually and with others
  • Reliable access to a computer, phone and access to internet
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Teams
  • Experience training or giving presentations to volunteers or paid employees virtually
  • Basic Microsoft Office experience
  • Relationship building skills working collaboratively with staff/volunteer partners
  • Experience using Volunteer Connection
  • Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies

Qualifications

• Host and deliver training based on prepared PowerPoints to include Volunteer Management 101, Volunteer Connection 101, and Volunteer Supervisor for Deployed Teams Members
• Utilize EDGE system to confirm and contact attendees.
• Follow up and answer training questions or coordinate follow up with subject matter experts.
• Agree to do one to two trainings per month based on a pre-made schedule.
