This is a 100% virtual, work-from-home assignment that supports the NHQ International Services Department (ISD) Quality, Data and Learning office (QDL) to structure and organize a functional SharePoint site to carry out their mission-critical humanitarian work.

Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this volunteer position include:
- Work with teams/users to organize and structure a functional and intuitive SharePoint site for QDL
- Migration of documents and data to the new structure
- Clean-up of existing data
Ongoing site administration as needed, which may include:
- Adding new features to site
- Updating security and permissions
- Adding new users
- Updating the format of the site
The secondary responsibilities of this volunteer position include:
- Participate in the development and/or communications of user guidance for QDL and its customers.
- Add RC Project under data management
Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience with SharePoint administration or development
- Demonstrated ability to comfortably and independently navigate IT systems
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Submission of resume
- Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion, with a proven ability to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into responsibilities.
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies.
Preferred:
- SharePoint certification
- Experience working with Salesforce
Training
- International Services provides standard orientation to the American Red Cross, International Services Department
- The QDL team will provide orientation to the unit.
- Introduction to departments existing use of SharePoint and business needs
- Possible other trainings on Percipio, RC Project, etc.

Length of Appointment
6 months, renewable
Time Commitment
1-4 hours per week depending on initiatives and deadlines; at least 1 hour/every two weeks during business hours to participate in calls and meetings with the QDL team.
