This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Disaster Cycle Services (DCS) department, specifically the Disaster Workforce Readiness (DWR) unit. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The DWR Technical Support Team Member is designed to provide technical support for the Disaster Workforce Readiness unit.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Workforce Planning and Engagement Tool including maintenance and development of new features
- Support additional DWR dashboards as needed
- Assist in data analysis requests
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerBi, including developing visual reports and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
- Experience connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
- Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in PowerBI.
- Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
- Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.
- Experience with Volunteer Connection reports and custom leadership reports.
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies

Red Cross Volunteer Orientation
Appropriate on-the-job training will be provided
Development Opportunities
Participate in NHQ workgroups and contribute to DCS leadership goals.
Length of Appointment
Minimum 1 year commitment; renewable
Time Commitment
10 - 15 hours per month
