The Team Engagement Volunteer Partner’s primary responsibility is to provide leadership, strategic direction, event planning and execution, tactical tools and communications resources designed to enhance employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Support Leadership: Help the Biomedical Volunteer Workforce Engagement team achieve their employee engagement goals and performance targets.

Facilitate Meetings: Coordinate and lead meetings focused on employee engagement (team empowerment, professional development), communicate strategies and expectations, and report progress to the leadership team.

Create Materials: Prepare engaging materials for participants, respond to evaluations, and provide high-quality communication both in print and online.

Build Relationships: Develop strong relationships within the team to assist with scheduling special events.

Enhance Engagement: Define, develop, and implement virtual staff engagement strategies and programs to boost staff morale and improve annual survey results.

Plan Events: Host and plan virtual events using Microsoft Teams and create a calendar of events for the year.

Required:
- Corporate Experience: Background in communications or human resources.
- Program Leadership: Proven track record in leading initiatives to enhance staff engagement and satisfaction.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Tech Savvy: Skilled in producing online events using Microsoft Teams and PowerPoint.
- Event Management: Experience in organizing themed events or series.
- Relationship Building: Ability to cultivate relationships, persuade, convene, facilitate, and build consensus among diverse individuals.
- Integrity and Passion: Demonstrates integrity, credibility, and a passion for supporting the department.
- Cultural Awareness: Designs engagement activities with the cultural profile and diversity of the BVWE community in mind.
- Virtual Volunteering: Reliable access to resources needed for 100% virtual volunteering.
