NHQ:HSO - SQA - Business Operations Specialist
This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Humanitarian Services Operations (HSO) department. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The Business Operations Specialist will support the HSO Quality Assurance (QA) team and project lead with project related tasks, allowing the HSO QA team to produce projects more quickly and efficiently and introduce additional projects.

Key Responsibilities
Work with the project lead to complete project tasks which include:
- Conduct data analysis and comparisons in Excel spreadsheets
- Track all work in shared Excel spreadsheets
- Collect and enter data into Excel and verify data validity
- Maintain contact lists in excel and conduct mail merges to create personalized forms in Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Access SharePoint to upload, file and maintain electronic documents in SharePoint folders
Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Advanced Microsoft Word experience, such as: Design and create forms and templates Use mail merge to create personalized forms, letters, and emails.
- Create and manage bookmarks, hyperlinks, footnotes, endnotes, and a table of contents.
- Advanced Excel experience, such as: Use lookup functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX + MATCH)
- Use various other functions: Logical functions (IF, IFNA, IF ERROR) Text functions (LEFT, RIGHT, EXACT, CONCAT, TRIM) Math functions (SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, SUMPRODUCT) Text-to-Columns, Trace Cells, Evaluate formulas Conditional Formatting, Remove Duplicates, Find & Replace
- Create, analyze Pivot Table data, present data with pivot charts, filter using timelines and slicers Use Power Query to import data from multiple sources, clean/shape data.
- Use Pivot Table and/or PowerPivot for data analysis Experience using SharePoint and Adobe Pro
- Experience handling confidential/sensitive data and information
- Attention to detail and accuracy
