This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Biomedical Services (BIO) department. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The National Sickle Cell Initiative Reporting Analyst will coordinate, collect, and design periodic reporting from multiple data sources, and create easy to interpret reports/powerpoint slides. These reports and presentations will be provided to Sickle Cell Initiative members and associated Biomed colleagues to primarily increase the awareness of donor antigen negative red cell inventory, pending orders, and other Lab Services tasks related to the Sickle Cell Initiative. This position will work across multiple Biomed teams and sources to complete this task. The goal of the National Sickle Cell Initiative is to increase the number of (self-identified) African American donors needed to support patients with sickle cell anemia who require special matched antigen negative red cells for transfusion. Reports to: Becky Klayman, Director, Laboratory Services Product Development and Implementation Responsibilities: Work closely with Product Management D&I Director to create presentation templates for scheduled reports in support of the ARC Sickle Cell Initiative goals. Inspect, review / analyze, and collate data provided through scheduled queries for periodic reporting. Prepare PPT and present reports to identified Sickle Cell Initiative members and associated Biomed colleagues to assist with setting and monitoring objectives. These presentations are also used to increase awareness of lack of special blood product availability and support the introduction of additional donor recruiting activities. Works across a broad range of Biomed departments to communicate results and identify other areas of reporting analysis support.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Highly skilled with Excel and data analytics
- Experience in data merging, pivot table, and VLookup
- Data analytic and interpretation skills to identify trends, and gaps
- Strong communication skills including sharing data and reports with a variety of stakeholders
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies

Length of Appointment
