This position supports the Regional Operations department. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The RC View & Power BI Applications Lead provides expert support and guidance to regional teams in the proper and maximized utilization of Humanitarian Services data visualization and decision support systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional champion for RC View & Power BI applications,
- Provide expert support and guidance to Regional department leads and their teams in the proper and maximized utilization of RC View & Power BI applications,
- Establish ongoing calendars for RC View & Power BI applications, training,
- Conduct RC View & Power BI applications training, using official American Red Cross training materials,
- Provide support to regional users using best practices for providing support to teams via technologies for remote communication and collaboration,
- Serve as a region expert in RC View & Power BI applications,
- Provide data and analysis and tools to region and department leaders to provide accurate information to support decision-making,
- Provide leadership and delegation to team members, as necessary.
- Participate as a member of the Regional Application Support Team [RAST] and coordinate with RAST Lead as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Facility with using mobile and desktop technology;
- Enthusiasm about using technology to improve delivery of services to Red Cross clients;
- Ability to communicate, coach and train others in the use of technology;
- Ability to work in a matrixed reporting structure;
- Excellent organization skills;
- Experience with or ability to learn remote collaboration tools and platforms.
- Prior experience using Power BI for data analytics or data visualization
Preferred:
- Experience with Red Cross services,
- Experience leading small teams,
- Experience interfacing with technical IT support.

Length of Appointment
1 year, renewable
