Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a .NET Core engineer to assist in the development of an upgrade to an existing web application developed in Classic ASP and VB.NET web forms.
This is a remote position and familiarity with Microsoft Teams and working with a remote group of engineers is helpful.
- Utilize .NET Core and front-end technologies to expedite completion of the project.
- Analyze existing Classic ASP code and replicate the functionality to the replacement .NET Core application.
- Collaborate with other software engineers, stakeholders, and team members in a Scrum Agile environment.
Qualifications
All Required: 2+ years’ experience developing custom web applications using following programs:
- ASP.NET Core MVC
- ASP.NET Core Razor Pages
- Microsoft Visual Studio
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 on Azure
- C# Programming
- Entity Framework / ADO.NET
- Azure DevOps, Git
- jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5 and CSS
- Microsoft Teams
- Experience working with software engineering teams
- Experience working in a remote environment and dealing with team members remotely
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually
- Willingness to comply with current public health and Red Cross policies
