NHQ:WFP - Workforce Planning Finance Mentor
NHQ:WFP - Workforce Planning Finance Mentor
The Workforce Planning Finance Mentoring program is designed to provide select mid-level non-finance Red Cross staff members training on using finance strategically. The Mentorship in Finance initiative seeks to match Red Cross volunteers that have professional and/or educational backgrounds in finance to individual program participants. The mentorship offers an opportunity for direct, one on one discussion with mentors on finance terminology, concepts and practical uses in areas such as accounting, budgeting, cost allocation and financial controls. The focus will be on finance in general and not specific to the American Red Cross. Each mentorship in finance will be individually tailored to the particular educational need of the mentee as agreed between the mentor, the mentee, and the organization. This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Workforce Planning unit. This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity.
