Volunteer Opportunities

Key Responsibilities

The American Red Cross focuses on the needs of those affected such as feeding and sheltering.  Some of the opportunities that we have for community members include:

 

-          Front desk/greeter/runner

-          Answering phones and providing a list of resources to those who call us.

-          Calling volunteers to schedule them for shifts.

-          Checking in/out volunteers for their shifts.

-          Mass feeding and mobile feeding. 

-          Loading /unloading supplies from trucks

-          Helping at a shelter

While we need help in many areas we recommend if you would like to help with cleanup efforts or search and rescue that you contact other Disaster Relief organizations in our community who assist with these areas of response and recovery.
