This position supports the National Headquarters (NHQ) Chief Innovation Office (CIO). This is a 100% virtual (volunteer-from-home) opportunity. The American Red Cross is looking for a Bots and Voice Technologies Manager who would focus on voice activated technologies and bots. The Innovation Team operates like a start up within the American Red Cross focusing on leveraging technology and data to innovate. The Bots and Voice Technologies Manager will be part of this Innovation Team, focusing on increasing adoption of voice skills and Bots and enhancing current capabilities. The individual in this role must be able to function effectively with a high degree of independence and minimal direct supervision.

- Monitor user adoption of bots and voice skills and identify changes needed to increase adoption
- Help define new product enhancements for voice skills and bots
- Track progress of these new enhancements and ensure completion

Qualifications
- Reliable access to resources needed to volunteer 100% virtually - required
- Professional experience in bot solutions and voice activated solutions (Alexa, Google Home skills, etc.) - required
- At least 5 years experience in business consulting or product management of digital technology solutions - required
- Ability to define capabilities for digital products and create product roadmaps - required
- Intellectual curiosity - preferred
- Constantly willing to push boundaries and overcome obstacles - preferred
- Experience with agile software development lifecycles - preferred
- Creative thinking skills - preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with executives - preferred
- Experience with business analysis and documentation of product requirements for digital technology initiatives - preferred
Time Commitment
6 - 10 hours per week during business hours Pacific Time.
