Key Responsibilities
- Works directly with disaster clients
- Initiates case record with 901 or CAS (Client Assistance System) to evaluate individual or family needs, provide services and maintain record of clients
- Provides disaster relief assistance by the use of Client Assistance Cards (CACs), Disbursing Orders (DOs) or referrals, and provision of relief items such as Disaster backpacks and/or Disaster Recovery Booklet, as well as in-kind donations by direct distribution

Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Working knowledge and competence in CAS
- Ability to successfully complete local casework under appropriate supervision
- Computer/database knowledge
Time Commitment
- Time frame for Day DAT: On-call one day per week, Mon-Fri 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Time frame for Night DAT: On-call one week per month, Mon-Fri 6 p.m. - 8 a.m. & 24/7 weekend & holidays
- Willingness to assist at a moment's notice during a large-scale disaster
