Volunteer Application

Youth Volunteer (14 through 17 yrs. old)

Introduction/Description

Hello!  We at the American Red Cross of the Greater Chesapeake Region thank you for your decision to help us serve!  There are a few different opportunities for you as a 14-17 year old.  You can serve as a CPR instructor aide, and can even be a CPR instructor yourself if age 16 or older.  You can become a community engagement volunteer and represent us in your community.  If you are age 15 or older, you can volunteer as a Blood Services helper at local blood drives.  Or you can start a Red Cross Club at your school.  For more information about starting a Club, you'll need to contact one of the people below depending on the county your school is in.  Most of the other positions, including disaster response, require you to be at least 18 years old; however if you have an idea on how to help that isn't listed as an opportunity, we'd love to hear it!  Additionally, internships may be available.

Thank you again, and we look forward to working with you!
