IMPORTANT:  THE PAGE BELOW ONLY CREATES YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE AMERICAN RED CROSS VOLUNTEER CONNECTION SYSTEM; PLEASE FINISH THE ADDITIONAL STEPS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GUIDANCE BELOW:

1.  After you submit the information below, the system sends you an email.  You MUST follow that link to activate your account, so  you can complete your application.  Please view THIS VIDEO to see how to activate your account after you submit the application below.

2.  After you activate your account and log in, you will see a checklist you must complete as part of your application; your application will not be forwarded for consideration for specific opportunities until you complete the steps in the checklist that are up to you.  The checklist is made of links in blue font, and can be done in any order; click on each link in turn and follow the instructions that then appear to complete each step.  The entire application takes around 2 hours and can be broken into smaller pieces; most of the individual steps in the checklist only take a few minutes.  The "Online Orientation" step takes approximately 70 minutes in total, but that can be broken down into four segments (more details on the time breakdown will appear in the instructions for this step after you click on it in your checklist).

3.  You may not be able to complete the application on a computer device using iOS (iPhone or iPad).  We've had reports of difficulties with the orientation videos and background check parts.  If you have trouble with this, please complete your application using a different platform.
