General Volunteer, Youth (13-17)
There are many opportunities for today’s youth in the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross gives youth the tools that will prepare them for the challenges of work life through volunteer experiences.
By interacting with and assisting those in need, youth volunteers establish a sense of awareness and personal achievement. Volunteering in community service gives youth the opportunity to help and teach others, make new friends and learn more about themselves and their community.
For youth under the age of 13: In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, youth under the age of 13 cannot be registered in Volunteer Connection, but can still support the organization and be recognized as a volunteer and be a Red Cross Club member. Youth volunteers uner the age of 13 must complete a parental consent form. Please contact Cayce Baierski, American Red Cross Volunteer Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the parental consent form.
