Thank you for choosing the American Red Cross! 

What to do: To join the Central Florida Region of the American Red Cross, here are your next steps:

1. Complete your profile
2. Activate your profile through an email link
3. Agree to Red Cross policies
4. Complete your background check
5. Take the Disaster Services Overview (online) and your in-person orientation. 
Once your background check clears, you will be a Red Cross volunteer!


How to select your chapter for the application below:
1. To volunteer in Hillsborough or Pinellas Counties, pick the Tampa Bay Chapter.
2. To volunteer in Charlotte, DeSoto, Hardee, Manatee, or Sarasota Counties, pick the Southwest Florida Chapter.
3. If neither of these options work for you, please call 813-348-4820 and ask for the Office of Volunteers.

About being a Red Cross Volunteer: Right this moment, Red Cross volunteers are responding to a disasters, teaching lifesaving classes, delivering emergency messages to military service members, or acting as a critical part of the support team that makes all of these missions possible. You will be able to choose from any of these areas of service!  Whatever the emergency, our community depends on the Red Cross as the world's leading humanitarian organization – and the Red Cross is now depending on you.
