If you are currently enrolled in school, we encourage you to start or join a Red Cross Club! Red Cross Clubs are youth service groups that help the organization fulfill its humanitarian mission of preventing, preparing for and responding to emergencies. ORV - Jackson/Pike/Scioto Counties - Youth under 18

Ohio River Valley Chapter - Jackson, Pike, and Scioto Counties

Youth volunteers contribute to our work by delivering preparedness education and by contributing to fund-raising efforts that fuel and stock our disaster trucks, keep our
preparedness efforts moving out into our community -- and even to help to curb
the spread of life-threatening diseases in developing countries.  Our chapter even has a special place for youth to develop leadership skills, at our annual Leadership Development Center.

If that’s a mission you can believe in – you are in the right place!   Once you have completed your on-line application, we’ll begin to search for the perfect ways for you to play YOUR part.

To complete your onboarding, below are the remaining steps (hyperlinked in blue) you will need to finish.  Once you have completed your steps including watching the online orientation, downloading your parental consent form and having a guardian sign it and then returning it to Red Cross,  a member of the Volunteer Welcome Team will reach out to you regarding your volunteer interests.

The Greater Cincinnati Dayton Region has created a "Welcome Team" made up of volunteers. Their role is to help you with any questions you may have through this process.  A member of this team will contact you soon.  If you do not complete the steps within 21 days, your account will be inactivated.  If you need more time than that, please let us know.

At any point during the onboarding process, you are welcome to call any of our team members for assistance.
