Volunteer Connection

6/25/2016 Home Fire Campaign - Lexington Park, MD\

Seven times a day in the United States, someone dies in a home fire.  Even more frequently, American Red Cross volunteers provide help to families who have lost their homes to devastating fires. It's important, now more than ever, that we all join together to save lives, reduce injuries and cut down on needless losses from home fires.

We are asking you to join us in this nationwide public initiative which aims to reduce the number of fire-related deaths and injuries by 25 percent by the end of 2019.

Register today for the Home Fire Campaign smoke alarm installation event in Lexington Park, MD on Saturday, June 25, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and help us save lives in this community.  Please report to the Bay Area Fire Dept., 46900 S. Shangri-La Drive, Lexington Park, MD 20653 by 10 a.m.  We will then be installing alarms in the Lord Calvert Mobile Home Park.
