In the Los Angeles Region, our Red Cross relief teams help disaster victims recover after home fires every single day. There are simple steps that everyone can take to protect their home and family from fires. Team Firestopper offers this information through a comprehensive program that focuses on the communities that are disproportionately affected by fires. This volunteer-led program provides education and hands-on community fire prevention activities. Participants in the safety fair seminar walk away with free smoke detectors, CO detectors, fire extinguishers, and more to make their families safer.
