Join over 100 volunteers dedicated to sharing preparedness tips with the residents of City Heights! Guided by the mission of the American Red Cross, you will conduct neighborhood outreach to educate residents on lifesaving fire safety information.
The Red Cross responds to more home fires than any other type of disaster, helping the victims of over 170 fires a day across the country; in San Diego and Imperial Counties alone, our Chapter responds to a disaster almost once every 24 hours. Spreading the message of fire safety can help prevent fires and reduce this number. You are helping to keep people safe, and that's a crucial responsibility!
