Home Fire Campaign – Sound the Alarm, Save a Life
|
Every day, seven people die in U.S. home fires, most in homes that lack working smoke alarms, with children and the elderly disproportionately killed. With the help of your employees, we can reach vulnerable communities across LA County. Volunteers go door-to-door meeting with families to complete a home safety checklist, help them develop a disaster plan and install free smoke alarms.

Engage with your employees and register for our train-the-trainer program. Give back in a meaningful way by helping the next generation of youth become more prepared and resilient.

Safety Training
|
When a loved one’s heart stops or a child is pulled from the water and no longer breathing, a Red Cross-trained family member or bystander can be the difference between life and death. Lifesaving training— successfully provided by the American Red Cross for more than a century—is what makes communities safer and more resilient to all kinds of emergencies.
