Thank you for your interest in the American Red Cross VolunTEEN Program at Tripler Army Medical Center!

Along with submission of this form and one letter of recommendation, qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must possess a valid DoD ID card. Family members of active-duty military personnel will be given priority consideration.
Applicants must be at least 14 years old and must not turn 18 until after the end of the program.
Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Applicants selected for the program must also be:

Cleared by Occupational Health at Tripler. This includes assessment of immunization status and may involve testing for tuberculosis. If the selectee is missing any vaccines, they must be received prior to the start of the program.
Covered by a health insurance plan for duration of program (TRICARE preferred)

To complete this application, you must submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher, pastor, or other authority figure to: jaclyn.whelen@redcross.org and to julie.greenly@redcross.org. Application and letter of recommendation must be received by May 8th, 2026, for consideration.
