Step Into Service: Disaster Action Team Info Session

Have you ever wanted to make a real difference during local disasters?

Join us for a Virtual Information Session to learn what it’s like to serve as a Disaster Action Team (DAT) Responder—the volunteers who provide immediate, compassionate support to individuals and families facing emergencies like home fires.

What You’ll Learn

During this session, you’ll get an inside look at:

  • What DAT responders do when disasters strike
  • How responders provide on‑scene comfort and essential assistance
  • Training, scheduling, and what it takes to get started
  • The real impact DAT volunteers make in their own communities

Hear From an Experienced DAT Responder

You’ll also hear directly from a current DAT volunteer who will share real‑world experiences, insights from the field, and helpful tips for new responders. It’s a great chance to ask questions and understand what it truly means to be part of the team that brings hope on someone’s toughest day.

Date:  Thursday, March 19th

Time:  6:00-6:30pm

Location: Virtual on Teams
