Step Into Service: Duty Officer Info Session

Have you ever wanted to make a real difference during local disasters?

Join us for a Virtual Information Session and discover what it means to serve as a Duty Officer—a critical role that helps coordinate Disaster Action Team (DAT) responses when emergencies strike. Duty Officers are the backbone of disaster response, ensuring that volunteers and resources are deployed quickly and effectively to support those in need.

Hear from a Current Duty Officer!
During this session, you’ll have the chance to hear directly from someone currently serving in the role. They’ll share their experiences, insights, and practical tips—giving you an inside look at what it’s really like to be the first point of contact during a disaster response.

We’ll walk you through:

  • What the Duty Officer role entails
  • How you can get started
  • The incredible impact you can make in your community

Whether you’re ready to take action or just exploring the possibilities, this is your chance to learn, connect, and be inspired. Your journey toward making a difference starts here!
