Talofa lava, and welcome to the American Red Cross of Hawaii's 2024-25 Home Fire Sound the Alarm Wildfire Educational Campaign!
Red Cross volunteers will Sound the Alarm in Hawaii as part of a national effort to install 280k smoke alarms in high-risk neighborhoods. Volunteers will educate residents with fire safety tips, locate and test their smoke alarm and help them create an escape plan to practice their two-minute fire drill. As part of our commitment to community safety, we offer an optional
Wildfire education component
. Our volunteers will guide you through best practices for preparing against wildfire threats
