Our community outreach program's goal is to raise community awareness of the American Red Cross and emergency preparedness. At an outreach event, such as a disaster preparedness fair, Red Cross representatives will set up a booth to provide preparedness information and invite the community to participate in our mission either by signing up as a volunteer, scheduling an appointment to donate blood, or preparing their household.

We appreciate your invitation to participate at an event in your community! In general, we would like the request form to be submitted at least 4 weeks prior to the date of the event. Once we have your event information, we will assess the availability of our volunteers, relevance to the Red Cross mission, and limited resources. We will not be able to participate in every event that is submitted through this request form.

Red Cross confirmation to participate in community events depend on the following:

1. Completed Event Request Form with advance notice on date and time of events (minimum 4 weeks)
2. A volunteer is available to support the event.
3. If there is a fee to participate, we ask that the fee be waived. Please understand, we will NOT be able to provide fees or raffle prizes to participate in community events.
