Service Associate (SA) position, include RES/DAT/SP (Response/Disaster Action Team/Specialist) assignment:
- Completed all required trainings per current Disaster Responder Training Requirements
- Responder accepted the responsibilities and met the qualifications stated in the Disaster Cycle Services - Operational State Positions
Supervisor (SV) position or RES/DAT/MN (Response/Disaster Action Team/Manager) reassignment:
A reassignment request packet is not required for SV or RES/DAT/MN promotion. The LDT will initiate the promotion process for responder, or the responder/responder's supervisor can submit a promotion qualification review using this form.
Promote to SV position or RES/DAT/MN when all four of the following criteria are met:
- Completed all required trainings per current Disaster Responder Training Requirements
- Had at least one Work Performance Evaluation received recommendation to promote OR had at least two 'Satisfactory' Work Performance Evaluations from Disaster Relief Operation deployment(s) in the relevant Group/Activity.
- For RES/DAT/SV and RES/DAT/MN, this criterion is replaced by Multifamily Fire experience
- Received promotion approval from the majority of relevant parties who are responder’s CDPM, responder’s CDPS, correlated Group/Activity RPL(s), correlated Group Functional DPM.
- Promotion accepted by the responder.
Please note: If the supervisor promotion is not approved. the relevant parties are responsible to create a development plan to support the responder in capacity building.
