Learn how to prepare for emergencies with the American Red Cross. Join us for a FREE presentation hosted by a trained volunteer. We offer curriculum options for kids and adults with age appropriate content. Select the option that is right for your group. A Red Cross representative will contact you to schedule.
***Presentations are available via in-person or virtual formats. However, options may be limited due to local COVID precautions. Options will be communicated upon receipt of the request.
Prepare with Pedro (Ages 4-7)
A 30-minute program presented in a storybook format that teaches children how to "be prepared" and "take action."
Pillowcase Project (Ages 8-12)
A 30-minute interactive program designed to increase awareness and understanding of natural hazards, teach safety and emotional coping skills, as well as the importance of personal preparedness.
Be Red Cross Ready (Ages 13 and up)
A 45-minute program to help people understand, prepare for, and respond appropriately to year-round disasters like home fires and local hazards. Participants will learn how to build a kit, make a plan, and be informed.
Hands Only CPR (adults)
A 30-minute training teaching hands-only technique for CPR. Participants learn how to check for consciousness, call 911 (or the local emergency number) and give continuous chest compressions. CPR training certification is not provided through this course.
Ready Rating (adults)
A 30-minute presentation explaining our free membership program to help businesses, schools, or organizations become better prepared for disasters and other emergencies.
