• Description The American Red Cross Club at UW-Eau Claire is a volunteer organization that supports the Red Cross mission statement of, “working to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors”. This organization specializes in disaster relief, disaster education, lifesaving blood and blood products, support for the armed forces, and emergency skills. Eau Claire’s chapter of the American Red Cross Club is one of three collegiate organizations throughout Wisconsin. Students unite to serve their community through volunteerism in local blood drives, community disaster relief, cpr/babysitting/swimming classes, and much more. The club extends to a national and international level by sending students to aid the needy in the face of natural disasters and by assisting with the creation of emergency road maps across the globe. The American Red Cross club at UW-Eau Claire does not discriminate and vows to always serve others in the face of disaster.
