  • Description American Heritage Red Cross Club will work closely with our Broward chapter to organize and carry out charitable events such as “Prepare and Share Kit Drive,” “Citizen CPR,” and other fun and impactful events that may even allow for lower school students to participate such as “Zombie Apocalypse Event.” Some of the virtual events include “Fire Safety Canvassing,” “Vaccinate a Village,” and “Tweets to Thank.” We will be involved in fundraising events such as “Mingle for a Mission” and a Dodgeball Tournament. Again, all of this will be possible through following the pre-existing guidelines that will be provided by the youth volunteer supervisor at our local chapter. During the meetings, the club officers will provide the information about upcoming events and community service opportunities. Potentially, partnering up with other big volunteer clubs such as Key Club and Make-a-Wish would allow us to host big fundraisers and fun events for the entire school (when Covid-19 is gone). Overall, this club will serve as a safe space for students to come and enjoy the presence of their friends while doing something great for the community, learning valuable skills, and working on fulfilling their community service hours requirements.
