  • Description Cardinal Red Cross is a student run organization at the Catholic University of America that provides support to the American Red Cross Initiative on disaster relief and service by upholding the seven principles that act as a foundation for the American Red cross. These values are Humanity Impartiality Neutrality Independence Voluntary Service Unity Universality As a campus club, Cardinal Red Cross, or CRC, will engage in community, national and international issues and help support the American Red Cross in various ways. Some ways include supporting and hosting Blood Drives, participating in local and national internships, partaking in training for various positions and internships, and even leading projects that will affect the community. CUA students will have the opportunity to work closely with the National Capital Region, the Red Cross Chapter of the District of Columbia, and engage in projects that address some of the country and world’s greatest needs, including preparing the community for disasters and hosting life saving blood drives. We will create, plan, and participate in service projects that will help our school and community - even make an impact around the globe, while building critical leadership skills.
